Tour Highlight

Trek in Nyungwe Forest National Park to see reclusive chimpanzees in their natural habitat. End your journey with a visit to Volcanoes National Park to see where renowned naturalist Dian Fossey worked to protect the endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 01: Arrival

Upon your Arrival at Kigali meet among our representatives who’ll transfer you to your accommodated place for an overnight.

Day 02: City tour and transfer to Nyungwe Forest

Kigali is a calm and booming city, nuzzled against scenic hills. Visitors and locals enjoy the cleanliness, order, and hospitality. You’ll explore this magnificent cultural city. The city is esteemed for its award-winning museums and swelling music scene.

After your town tour, you’ll head out of town to the Nyungwe Forest National Park. This biological asperity is like something from a fairy tale-old Mahogany tree, giant ferns, orchids, and other epiphytes grow in a lush canopy. You’ll check in the hotel, refresh and relax for a big day tomorrow.

Day 03: Chimps Tracking

Nyungwe Forest National Park is a prominent terminus with visitors anticipating a visit with some of the park’s 13 species of primates. The treks to see a chimpanzee group are extremely popular. You will hike deep into the forest with your guide to find the chimps. Once located, visitors are allowed one hour to view the animals before returning to the accommodation for their lunch. The dense forest can make seeing the chimps difficult but their playfulness, curiosity, and human-like characteristics make the long trek beneficial.You’ll return to your accommodation for a hot lunch then around dusk you’ll visit the Gisakura tea estate

Day 04: Transfer to Volcanoes National park .

Early in the morning after waking up and breakfast you’ll be transferred to Volcanoes National Park and break for lunch at your accommodated place. In the post meridian you will visit the Dian Fossey Museum, dedicated to the American ecologist who made cushion the mountain gorillas her life’s work. Hike from the trailhead at the research station to see the cabin where she was executed in 1985, as well as the nearby grave where she is submerged alongside 20 of her beloved mountain gorillas. The hike takes approximately 1.5 hours and requires a medium level of fitness to navigate the forested slopes. Keep your eyes open on the way for forest piglets and a variety of primates and bird species.

 Day 05: Bisoke Hike

Preliminary morning at 5:00 A.M starts for a hike to Mt. Bisoke, an active volcano. The hike to the top will take you half a day, so bring a packed lunch and congenial hiking boots. Around dusk you’ll return to your accommodation to rest.

Day 06: Golden Mountain Trekking then transfer to Kigali

Start your morning with a 6:00 a.m breakfast before heading out for your hike. There are two habituated groups of Golden Monkeys that live in the park at the foot of Mt. Sabyinyo, and visitors are permitted one hour to squander with the monkey throng.

You’ll head back to the accommodated place for lunch then you’ll get ready to be transferred to Kigali for your departure.
